Dale Hayward (Canada, Montreal) works at See Creature
Dale Hayward is a stop motion director and animator. He is the co-owner of See Creature Animation in Montreal, where he has worked on a wide range of film and commercial productions for clients such as Nike, Tim Horton’s, Adidas, Gaz Métro, Moment Factory and LEGO-Star Wars. After animating on the feature film The Little Prince, he began directing a horror/fantasy stop motion film with the NFB titled Bone Mother.
Élène Dallaire (Canada, Montreal)
A graduate in film animation from Concordia University, Elene Dallaire has worked for the NFB and several Montreal studios, often as a production manager or coordinator. She has been giving workshops in schools for over 30 years and has participated in the productions of: Kid Stuff, Jours de Plaine, Baroque 'n Roll, Marsupilami, Ruzz and Ben, and Et Dieu créa Laflaque. A long time accomplice of Pierre M. Trudeau, she produced Garbage Angels as well as several short films. She also wrote critiques for seven years in the magazine Séquences.
Ludovic Berardo (UK, Bristol) works at Laika (USA)
Ludovic, who mostly animated in 2D throughout his education, discovered the technique of stop motion much later on. After his studies, a friend and fan of stop motion, Christine Polis, contacted him to animate some shots on a short film in Luxembourg. Following that, he worked the next year as an assistant animator on the feature Swiss film "Max & Co". It was love at first sight for Ludovic who now has a professional career in stop motion, with Kubo and the two strings, ParaNorman and Pirates In An Adventure With Scientists racked up on his resume.
Rachelle Lambden (Canada, Toronto) works at Laika (USA)
Rachelle Lambden has built a solid reputation as a character animator amongst the very finest in the stop motion animation industry. Her list of high profile credits includes LAIKA’s Kubo and the Two Strings, The Boxtrolls, ParaNorman and Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie. Since 2002, Rachelle has animated and directed on a combined total of over ten different seasons of television series including Disney’s Jojo’s Circus and MTV2’s Celebrity Deathmatch. Further works include various short films by the National Film Board of Canada, Paradise, A Sea Turtle Story and Canada’s first stop motion feature Edison & Leo.
