Julia Peguet first discovered and fell in love with stop motion animation when she was collecting short films as a teenager and has been a stop motion super-fan ever since! She began working professionally on a traditional 2D feature film after graduating in 1999, then in 2004 Julia jumped at the first opportunity to specialise in her first love, (stop motion and clay animation), as she joined Aardman Animations studio; the creators behind Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Early Man and more.
She has since animated in many other studios across Europe and, in recent years between productions, teaches animation at schools such as ArtFx in Montpellier, the Animation Workshop in Viborg and Gobelins in Paris. In 2018, she published a book "Secrets d'Animateur" to share everything she learned firsthand throughout her professional career with a worldwide audience.
